Welcome to the official web site of Cal Percussion, the drumline of
the University of California,
also known as Cal or UC Berkeley. Cal Percussion marches five instruments within
the University
of California Marching Band (more popularly known as the Cal Band). This web site contains
information on our members, equipment, technique, cadences, as well as the unique role that
Cal Percussion plays in the Cal Band, the Pacesetter of College Marching Bands and the Pride of California.

AUDITION 2009-2010:

Reminder! Percussion is meeting a day earlier than the rest of the band this August. Show up at the band rehearsal hall Wednesday, Aug 19. Meeting times will be posted later on.
Congratulations! Our 2009-2010 DA's are Alex Beagle for the Snares, Jeff Wayland for Tenor Drums, and Blaire Segal for the Cymbals. Additionally, Cameron Shernicoff will be on Administrative Committee, and Nick Fong and Stephanie Bonds will be on Secretary's Committee.
Pre-Game Warmup: Before every home game, the drumline will be warming up two hours prior to kick-off (that is, a half hour prior to the Sproul Steps concert).
