Shekhar Khedekar is the current instructor for the University of California Drumline. He is currently in his fifth year of school studying Mechanical Engineering, and plans to graduate in May 2003. Originally from West Hills, CA, he marched snare drum with the Conquistadors Youth Band (Moorpark, CA) in 1998, and moved on to the Sacramento Mandarins Drum and Bugle Corps in 1999. In his second season there, the Mandarin drumline won drums in Division II. Shekhar concluded his drum corps career with the six-time world champion Santa Clara Vanguard Drum and Bugle Corps from 2001-2002.

Shekhar has also played tenors for Cal Percussion from 1998-1999, and snare from 2000-2001. He enjoys moonlit strolls on Mt. Tam, as well as A&W Cream Soda (mmmm... creamy...). Contact him at shekhark@uclink4.berkeley.edu.
