Welcome to the official web site of Cal Percussion, the drumline of
the University of California,
also known as Cal or UC Berkeley. Cal Percussion marches five instruments within
the University
of California Marching Band (more popularly known as the Cal Band). This web site contains
information on our members, equipment, technique, cadences, as well as the unique role that
Cal Percussion plays in the Cal Band, the Pacesetter of College Marching Bands and the Pride of California.

Reminder! Percussion is meeting a day earlier than the rest of the band this August. Show up at the band rehearsal hall Wednesday, Aug 15 at 3:00 if you are a returning member and at 4:00 if you are not.
Congratulations! Our 2006-2007 DA's are David Umberg and Brett Haas. Additionally, Raul Lopez will be on Stunt next year and Allison Wakita will be on PR-comm.
Pre-Game Warmup: Before every home game, the drumline will be warming up two hours prior to kick-off (that is, a half hour prior to the Sproul Steps concert) at Sather Gate.
