AIDS Walk 2008
Hello Cal Band Alumni,
Once again, the San Francisco AIDS Walk is quickly approaching and the Cal Alumni Band has been invited to perform on the walk route. We hope that you can make it to this special performance, which honors all who have been affected by AIDS. This family-friendly gig takes place in Golden Gate Park on Sunday, July 20th where we will play a roughly 2 hour-long set for the thousands of AIDS Walkers and Cal alums passing us by. Our performance location in Golden Gate Park affords plenty of grassy space for you and your family to spread out on. Each performer will also receive FREE LUNCH and an AIDS Walk T-Shirt!
Although current members of the Cal Band will strengthen our numbers, we sincerely hope you can join us. Those who performed in the past years will attest that this gig is a lot of fun! It's a great opportunity to play through your favorite Cal and rock songs, as well as brush up on your sightreading skills. :)
